In episode four, Mason and Monica welcome colleague Audra Rouse to a discussion of fairness, grades, student learning outcomes, and (self)assessment as they apply to The English 101 Experiment.
MEET Audra
Audra Rouse grew up in rural south Alabama and spent a decade in Texas before settling in New Orleans in 2010. She studied literature, with a focus on gender and women writers, at Huntingdon College, Auburn University, and the University of Texas at Austin. After way too many years of schooling, she finally got a job at Delgado Community College, where she has taught English for the last twelve years. She loves dancing, alt. country music, and introducing students to great writing and academic ways of thinking.
